you want to make this a 9 element quad?

wow your looking at around 60 feet of boom, lots of wind load, and most likely the chance of it blowing down every bad storm that comes along.

to do this right one would need to rebuild the whole antenna in stead of just adding another 4 elements to what ya got now.
your doubling its size you really need to make a new boom
in short its a total rebuild.

i build quads and a 34ft six element is about as long as i care to go for my personal use. its extremly tight. at 8 miles away 30 deg off center of someone and thier gone. now that sounds cool at first but gets old fast when you try to talk to a group of guy's with this antenna you spin it more than you talk on it, so a 9 would be much worse.

you can email me with your ideas/goals for this system and id be glad to talk to you about this via email.
