Hi I HAve A Sears Roadtalker RAdio And I Wanted to know IF anybody knew What diode to cut for Talkback.

No diode to cut for this radio. Any radio that receives ONLY with the mike plugged in, will work with an external talkback speaker. I'm pretty sure ALL of the several DOZEN models of Roadtalker radio were built this way.
"Roadtalker" was the name brand for a whole product line, like "Realistic", or "Ford". If you MUST tinker with the inside, a model number (NOT the serial number) is the starting point for that.
The talkback speakers usually come with one feature that is a real advantage: a volume control for the talkback audio. It's probably a cheaper route to take than tearing into the radio.

I used to own a roadtalker SSB AM base mobile combo unit. Cool radio from 1978 or so you could use it in the vehicle or on the base by changing the power cord. It talked well on AM but shined on SSB. receiver was pretty decent too much like a 142GTL. |

Beleive ir or not the 40 ch. 3 knober was one of the best radios I've ever owned, clip the diode and have some bodacious audio, wish I could find another like it. Wildbill |
