Osama/alquida possibly has ties with Saddam. Both have possible weapons of mass destruction. Iraq wont disarm.
I feel we havent been at such a high "alert" by the american people than in a long time.
Korea likes to call our bluff like China does.
What are we getting into? |

Taz stop worrying, we all went threw it before, enjoy your life, I once bought a very expensive watch thinking it was all over, I was on picket on a destroyer in the blockade of Cuba in the missle crises, we were the lead Destroyer many times and the last time when it was finally over, to find out how many Russians Subs were under us, when they came up. that whole colorcoded high alert thing is a joke. all that is a scare tool to get the american sheeple in a frightened frenzy and to push bush's approval ratings up.
if we didnt have people in our govt. pusing for the new world order, perhaps the attacks on our country wouldnt've happened in the first place. they knew full well that the towers were gonna get attacked yet they let it happen. it doesnt take a genius to figure out that creating a situation and a face of an enemy will unify the public in support of the leader.
they tried to pull a stunt very similar to this in 1962. did JFK let it pass? no. why did JFK get shot? hmmm i think its quite obvious.

A very uncertain future. The only thing we can do right now is prepare as one would for any natural disaster. Flashlight, radio (this group already has that covered), ect and be vigilant.
My belief is that America will do well despite this conflict no matter what direction it takes. |

hey exgi, i gotta disagree brother, we are not the most powerfull nation on the planet.. China does have us beat in man power and weapons.. Then it's the united states followed by russia..
For centurys man has faught wars. Even biological wars, which dates back a century or 2.. Black plauge was a bioligical war, which was started when one of the enemy started throwing carcusus over the walls...
I think we need to act to protect the people of the U.S.A.. Reguardless of what other countries think..
I do beleive this is just another fight and we will get over it like karatebutcher says above.. we who are older been threw it before, and been wondering when it was to happen again.. IT'S MANS NATURE TO FIGHT...
Sometimes we have to act and other times we don't, i feel like this is a time to act...

We Should have done this a long time ago we now must take care of these animals.Their will be no peace until these people are hunted down.You can not reason with them they want to kill all of us period.The longer we wait is a death sentance for all of us once they get a Nuke or anything just as bad ,They will use it period.So wake up all who don't understand.I love the US and PROUD to be a AMERICAN.And French goverment are backstabbers we saved their ###es and lost thousands to free them.And Germany i can't even understand them ?We can not sit back no more and let them have time to plan attacks on us!They are a cancer we must kill it.I want peace so does everyone else i hope,But one thing i know is they want us all dead! So we have to get them 1st.Saddam has been hiding weapons for a long time he has broke every rule with the UN and has not stop at all.Bush is a great man i did not like him at first but he is starting to become a great leader.Remember this country is not the same after what happend to us, Our leaders are doing things for the first time to help us with these problems.I live in NYC i have seen what some of these animals did it was very bad ,I will never forget and i lost Family/Freinds. North Korea you can thank Clinton for that like they can be trusted.We will give you this and that if you don't use the reactor.Bush has to clean the mess up that Clinton left behind. Well there will certainly be more casualties in this war than before. But I think it will be short and no doubt we will prevail....My guess is that if Osama is alive(I have my doubts)he is in Iraq....Just my two cents worth but I say we take over Iraq, bring the oil here, and say screw the Saudis. Then we should stay over seas and deal with North Korea. It was just announced today that they do have a missile capable of hitting the West coast....Im just a nobody but I am proud that I voted for G.W.Bush and IM glad he is our leader. God only knows where we would be if Gore was in there...Maybe we could just fire a few cruise missiles at them for a temporary diversion so he could check out the interns also??? Just a Thought!!!!!

if we dont like something, we go to war with it
war on drugs (drug use is higher than it ever was and boy are they flowin)
war on poverty (a lot of good that did. drive through NYC or any other metropolis)
war on terror (USA is the leading terrorist govt.)
we even have a reference to bombs in our national anthem. |

All I want is some mushroom clouds in Korea, and China. French there like carp bottom feeders let them feed. Russia "Putin" I would like him on our side or neutral. Its been us and britain as always. Turkey they stood by us in the cold war so we need to stand by them now! Oh let the peace fanatics save a whale or something.
I remember during Just Cause the protest outside the main gate at Ft.Ord, What a bunch that was! After the D Storm all was good till our hair falls out and the sun makes you have spots on your body like a burn victim your children are light sensitive and nervous, Oh they have spots in the sun too.BUT Nobody was exposed to nothing YEA RIGHT ! |

Our nation has always been a nation that responds after tragic events occur. Dec.7th, Kuwait, Kosovo, Afganistan, WTC. Now we are responding before another tragic event occurs. And it's about time.
If my neighbor to the left threatens me with a WMD I wont listen to my neighbor to the right If he says negotiate. He's not the one threatened.
I remember a general once quoted (name unknown)
" The next one will be at your front door, Prepare"
What does this nation of free people need another incident worse than WTC? Is 10k enough or 20 or 30k casulties enough? If we wait and negotiate It will happen some day some where again here in America.
I dedicated my career to defending our Constitution and the freedoms we enjoy. Dont try and take it from me. I'm prepared and ready and alert.
This nation is protected and defended by citizens who's ancestors came here from every nation and country in the world. From every religious sect in the world. It will be defended to the last man/woman. |

I can agree with you in regards to the war on drugs being useless. My personal belief is if you want to use pot, ect it's your body and as long as you're not injuring anyone else in the process then you should have the right to use such substances legally.
No government which believes in the freedom of individuals will ever be able to stop poverty. Heck even in Communist countries poverty exists. So, "War on Poverty" is bad PR.
However I have to fundamentally disagree with the last two statements. The U.S. government has spearheaded many peace-time and good faith initatives. We've been very generous, maybe too generous, in our dealings with foreign agressors. Have we made some big and costly mistakes? Yes we have, including slavery and the murder of Native Americans. But America as a people have strived to always acheive a higher understanding and do what is right for all-and we have made progress.
The National Anthem: The bombs bursting in the air/Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
That line speaks to me. The flag was still there. The flag of the United States was still lapping in the wind against the backdrop of the rising sun, symbolizing stength and steadfastness. Bombs may cause damage, but bombs alone cannot destroy freedom so long as it's alive in the hearts and minds of the American people. The only way freedom can die is if we choose to sacrifice it. That's what "Bombs bursting in the air..." says to me.
Thank God for America. It's great to live in a country where we can openly criticize our leaders and not have to worry about being hauled off in the middle of the night. A country where at a moments notice one can pack up their belongings and move to another state without having to get government approvial.
I don't get the impression that Bush is salivating over the prospect of war, just that he realizes it's necessary in this case. I think we all would rather be able to solve this another way, but Iraq has chosen to ignore that option.

EXGI, one of the BIGGEST problems we face right now is that almost NO nations are aligning with us that is a serious problem !!!!And mushromm clouds over China and Korea ?????!!!!!! The radiation will "drift" over the west coast and over north America too,Hair falling out ????!!!! That will be the least of your concern !! I would have to say russia is so far behind its sad. They have several subs, ships all for sale and sitting in moth balls because there govenrmnet cant afford to run them.

before i continue, i'd like to say i love this country and wouldnt trade it off for anything.
if you want to defend the constitution, try fighting against the patriot acts. theres nothing patriotic about it. spying on americans and overriding the 4th amendment is not what i call patriotic.
for you religious types who think the sky is gonna fall, the only thing that will fall if we nuke them is the fallout from that. talk about speeding humankinds self destruction.
just the simple fact that our government controls the media should've been setting off some alarms. im suprised and kinda disgusted that more people arent fighting against the current mass media infastructure.
as for the war, it seems to me the only people that are for it are the people that wont have to go fight it. im at the age where if the draft was put back into place, im at the prime age to go fight.
hmm tough decision, lower gas prices, though theres a chance i wouldnt see it happen because im dead over in some desert, or slightly higher gas prices or ::gasp:: an alternative to petroleum and im still alive

I think we are doing the right thing...we dont need anyones help. I hope France gets what they deserve...they would be around if it wasnt for the US so I can care less what happens to them. What a bunch of yellow belly cowards. And if North Korea thinks that they are going to hit the US...Well they will be wiped off of the map before they know what hit them..

In July of 1970 i was in The Airport in uniform when a man tried to spit at me Now THIS was a common thing since the GI's did not have public support. The news people acted as as we were baby killers ... myself I was never in a combat zone but 16 out of 18 fo the guys i went in with were. Anyone who is or has ever served with honor in some way has perserved out freedom to be doing here in this forum right now. I wish for the safe return of our fighting men and every american to back them up PLEASE never leave them hung out to dry! Thoes who oppose a war are welcome to do so but under stand the other side USES them to cost american LIVES. This is not the time to show a ununited america this is the time for all of thoes who oppose us to see our men and woman with 100% backing of the people with what ever they need to do the job and come home safe.

If osama is dead, and the world knows it, there will be a majority of people that will say, ok the war is over bring our guys home, there is no need to act farther..
I beleive he is dead, but the intellegence cannot let anyone know because of what is in the pharagraph above.. I think it's a great idea to take care of all the threats to this country as well as all the future threats.. |

I also have noticed that are presents are being stepped up in Korea as well, several B19's have been sent to SOUTH Korea, and we have even sent more troops there. Then NORTH Korea says, it will strike first, to avoid getting attacked first..

I guess everyone is getting a better understanding of how deep and how many terrorists and orginizations are imbedded in the US. The Aschroft announcement today is probably the tip of the iceberg.
As we get closer to War in Irag the North Korean retoric will crank up with it. It's their tactical advantage to jump in now with their Sabre Rattling. But these idiots seem to forget WW 2 was a conflict on both sides of the world.

paul harvey had a good point on the radio the on friday.. he was stating that we should teach them a real lesson..... what do they have that we need? OIL. plain and simple. but what paul said was we have the capability to convert vehicles to ethanol based fuels pretty cheaply, so why do we not just teach em. everyone that is with us... keep open trade and sanctions. every one else? shut the borders, close the doors.. just about everything we import we can manufacture in our own country and let us see how well they would fair without the u.s. for a market.. do ya honestly think germany would be whining if they lost half the market they had for their products cause of their being ignorant? i think not someone would be playing a diffrent tune pretty quickly.. ethanol fuel is made from biomass... farm products... so why not it would greatly boost the economy in this country, farmers would have a product instead of being paid not to farm their own land.. even if it is not a permanent solution have you ever noticed when you have a big surplus the price drops? huh i just think a bold move like this would be a little tough at first but it would work... everyone thinks we are a big bully so be it but noone ever said we HAD to buy their stuff. God Bless America! let the americasn spirit prevail and stop the forign dependancy we can do it!
