The Amateur Radio Association of the Southern Tier will host it's 22'nd annual winter hamfest on Saturday February 22, 2993 from 8:00 am til 3:00 pm at the New York State National Guard Armory in Horseheads New York.Yhis is a good indoor hamfest with several big east coast dealers and lots of flea market vendors.Most years there is a good selection of 11 meter equiptment.Talk in is on 146.700- and 444.200+,no PL.Unoffical talk in 27.425 LSB, call for "Unit 12*.If you close by stop in and join the fun.

I hope the weather cooperates. This is always a good hamfest. The Ithaca group will be there. |

OOPS...
I hope this doesn't screw up anyone's plans, the fest is this year not 2993!!It was early morning and I still had fat-finger syndrome. |

I won't be there for the 2993 fest, but some of the vendors will be hauling the same old junk in. |

Not many vendors !!! was good to see a lot of radio friends. As always brownstone had the best 11 meter table. |

Thanks Ken.It was kind of a bummer to see the back room so empty after they sold out of tables last year.Last year people were tailgating in the parking lot.I think the slanderous weather report of ice-storms held the the buyers and sellers back.Despite this I did better than I expected to do.After a very slow start it picked up and was steady all day long,I even made two sales while I was tearing down. I probably won't set up again until Owego.
