I would like to know how to "clip" my trc446 so I can get better modulation, I heard that it is diode(D110) but I cannot find it. Are there any other components I can cut or desolder??? Is D110 hidden if so what part of the board is it on?

I have a TRC446. It suddenly quit transmitting. I believe the prob is the mic. Can you tell me how to trouble shoot?

POWER: Adjust L106, L104, L102

D110 does not exist on my 446. Must be a newer revision. Bought mine in March '03. I used a magnifying glass, too.
