Does anybody know where I can buy a nice USA map with cities/capitals, etc to track skip?

I saw a USA map that this guy had, that you could use colored push tacks in and see where you skipped to. It was like a bulletin board. He didn't want to sell it, but I really liked it and he had bought it from a yard sale,...

Anyway, I would like to use push pins/tacks but don't want to put holes in a paper map. I did a search but couldn't find a detailed match.
