I was wondering how you post a small picture of something on this forum? I want to take a picture of my scanner antenna and ask anyone if they recognize it because I'm curious as to what kind it is. bought it from a friend but it's almost like a radio shack discone antenna.

Forum Master Note : There are two requirements for posting an image.

1) You have to be a registered member.
2) The file has to be 50k or less.

I understand being a registered user but I'm not exactly sure on how to post the picture itself. I know this sounds kind of silly but you might have to explain in detail on how to post a picture for us "computer illiterate" types in the "open forum" section. Thanks!

Forum Master Note : When posting a message include this \image{Text description} in the body. When you post the message it will ask you for the image file you want to post. Find the file on your hard drive and click "OK". The file will be automatically uploaded.

50kb is the size of the file of the image in kilobytes. It is kind of small.

Yes 50 kilobytes is the file size limitation. If you compress your image, 50k is enough for most images.

Skilletlicker the reason why your last attempt didn't work is because you used () instead of {}.
