Oops, someone has replaced the cord with one that uses different colors. Your only hope is to identify what function is wired to which color, and match that to the mike plug. Sounds like you need the services of someone who can read a schematic and reverse-engineer the new color scheme.

Bill,

I will try and walk you thru this.

Turn Mic upside down and Push to talk key at top away from you.

Remove Bottom Plate

You will see TWO (2) long relay switches going to bottom on Push Bar.

Both Switches will have (1) Solder connector on the Left of Switch and (2) Solder connectors on the right of EACH SWITCH.

"BLACK" Mic Cord wire goes to TOP solder connector on right side of Left Relay Switch.

"RED" Mic Cord wire goes right under Black Soldered to Bottom Solder connector on right side of relay.

"WHITE" wire goes to Relay Switch on the RIGHT, "LEFT TAB (single Solder post)" of the right Relay.

"SHIELD" goes to Ground Screw to the right of Elec/Relay Battery Bracket.

""The Above is How the Mic came from the Factory.""

You can see which wires they have going to these spots and then see which wires they have going to Mic Connector.

Use Mic Wiring I have above and you should be able to see which wires they have going to each and figure if they have them connected right.

Just substitute the colors you have.

Hope this helps.
