Well, I didn't sit behind a radio today. Northern VA was hovering around 60+degrees today so I hiked off to a nearby stocked trout stream... and just took it EASY! Man, trout jus' love that Power Bait! Hope you all too can get out from Old Man Winter soon! XLAXX |

Aw now XLAXX, you haven't learned anything from Karatebutcher now have you? I told him there is no finer place than to shoot skip down near a lake while fishing, and now he catches them BIG trout, all the while using the water as an excellent ground plane shooting skip nation wide (and sometimes beyond). Ssshhhhh...but I think he cheats a little and wraps the line around his antenna. Once his signal starts breaking up, it tells him he's got a fish on! Yes... the best of both worlds. All kidding aside, I just wish some sun would return to the "Sunshine State". It's warming, but our promising blue sky weekend went down the tubes. Alsworld |

Alsworld ok I took the bait, here I am, and yes RAINBOW power bait is the best, and I did not miss two fish on my 2 poles because I was to busy talking on the radio, I will never admit to it, and someone said lake water cannot be used as a ground, only salt water is that true ? |

I use a egg and a worm egg on the end. I can get the egg power bait out here in oregon. Thing is I dont like trout but fun to catch them. I'm close enough to the snake river to go catfishing only 30 miles to snake river from here but can walk to the powder river for 18 inch trout. |

Well, fellas, there's quite a few streams over here in VA that they stock pretty consistently,... once a week. No really big trout but keepers none the less. Guys swear by the yellow and the white and man, they work. Tried orange, tried green, but nothing compares to the yellow. Alsworld, you're cracking me up! hehehe Karatebutcher probably has the coax running between his toes to wake him up,... the coax pulls when there's a fish on it, and tingles with RF when they're calling for him on the air!hehehe XLAXX |

I have used the rainbow. The pink eggs work the best here. I have spend alot of money on power bait, and the pink eggs work the best. |

Alsworld what part of California is Florida in, up here we have really beautiful lakes and a lot of streams, they are planted but in the winter months there are still some who make it to catch, fishing from the car is great as you can use the radio in the winter, in the summer I change lakes and have to move about 25 yards from the car. Someday I will show you the lakes |
