I just Ran In To A Person That Sold ME Two of them. I Was wondering If anybody Used one of these befor. He Said That Dirty But it does not matter its going to be in the Car.

Dirty is dirty,regardless,I've seen a couple but never got to use em.I heard a fella use a generic 100 that was dirty,it splattered all over the band,when he was in town the only one you could talk to was him.Just turn down the drive that should help.

By "dirty" do you mean it puts out a lot of spurious emissions? So if it's in a car it doesn't matter that it's dirty? It still transmits on the same spectrum we all have to share. If it messes up the band, it's no good.

I think he means it causes TVI. Like big bob said turn down the drive should work fine.

I have a Pedator 400. On AM it does OK but my Texas Star 400 is better on SSB.
