How do I turn up my receive inside my radio. My Mirage is Alot lower in receive then any one of my radios. |

I think you can change the two detection Diodes (1N60P) with more sensitive Schottky Barrier Diodes ECG583. Replacing these diodes will help you detect those distant stations better.

bill if you cant find the diodes i may have some but i realy didnt find much improvement when i played with a export radio a few years back if you realty feel your reciver is not up to snuff get a recive preamp copper used to sell a real good one for 30 bucks or if its picking up to much spalter think of installing a channelguard filter they also run 30 bucks.....OR talk the wife into that ranger 2970 you always deserved....he he he |
