Can a Mobile amp be used with a NGP system using a 2' firestisk II NGP antenna

if im assuming ngp is similar or the same thing as GPS, then no.

NGP= No Ground Plane

If you intend to operate your Firestik on 10 meters and use an amplifier, then you need to be aware of the power handling capability of the system.

I know it is not capable of the full legal limit, so reduce power accordingly. If the antenna gets warm, then reduce power.

oh ok. yeah i wouldnt run much into a no ground plane antenna. especially a 2' one at 27-28 mhz. if im thinking correct they can only handle about 20 watts max

I would speculate around 100 watts max.
