Jimmy396,

I had a Big Stick mounted on a vent pipe with a 15 foot mast for 20 years with out ever having any trouble. You can buy the brackets at Radio Shack, hope this helps!

Jimmy396,

I am not running the Big Stick at this time but when I did it worked very well for me. RX and TX was good and after 20 years of weather conditions it was still in good shape.
I took it down when I moved and when I decided to put an antenna back up I bought a A99,and to be honest with you I liked the Big Stick better!

Just a note this was the regular Big Stick and not the Army Big Stick!

My big stick was a good antenna for me. They like to be up HIGH--when I raised it from about 25 feet to 40 feet, it made a HUGE difference. Good luck.
