Hello - I got this amp from a local CB shop for $80. It is in OK shape but needs new tubes. It will cost over $250 to put new tubes in it. Should I spend the money on the amp or just look for another working amp?

Does it need all of them? How many does it have anyway I cant remember, 6LF6 right.

IMHO if i were you id get a new amp like a KLV 1000P or something of the like. 20.00 for new tubes for a KLV 1000P VS 64.00 for ones for the 350Z!!! OWWCCH!!!! Its all up to you though....... The 350Z is like the 300A but the 350Z has the power suplier inside the amp instead of outside the amp like the 300A had it. But the 350Z is MUCH more problematic than the 300 because of the power supply causing heat inside the amp case. I used to run the 300A and it was a nice amp but i got rid of it for the KLV 1000P and im much more happy with it!!
