Hey Triplecguy, I suggest we ditch our 4 cylinder pick um up trucks and get something with a little more get up and go eh? I tried getting out last summer to do a little spotting but heaven forbid I get stuck in the path of one with a little old ford ranger.......Ha!!! I am curious if the storm chasers change frequency or have different frequencies that they operate off of because I had a hard time finding them last year. Oh well, here's to the summer of crappy weather. May it enlighten us with good storms but keep us away from harm!!! Go Tornado Chasers!!!!!!!!

Tornado chasers remind me of car chasing dogs. What are you gonna do with it if you catch it?

It's funny how we(the radio freaks) notice movie bloopers like that huh? Have you seen that flick "joy ride"?? One of them guys had a northstar cb radio that the receive meter which was a section of led lights in a row would go from nothing to all of them when the guy would talk(on the other end) almost like he had no dead key with all forward modulation. Kind of like when you lower a dead key to almost nothing and then whistle and have all forward swing but this was on the receive end of it. Maybe a blooper, maybe not. Looked like it to me

Yeah i saw that too there Boxcar.. LOL I pointed it out to the g/f and of course she was lost.. I know of NO cherokee CB that uses a LED bar graph.. But the move was pretty cool.
OH!! Another blooper involves the car towards the beginning of the move when they are at the CB shop getting the CB and the antenna installed. When they attach the 102" whip to the car it somehow moves from one fender to the other in one sequence!! HMMMM Next time you watch the move look for that part!!! LOL

Hey Boxcar, I read your profile and you're not that far away from me, and I can now see why you're interested in tornados, cuz you live in a great location for one to wipe out your home. By the way, I have a V6 in my super Mazda B3000 4x4!! That's 160 unbridled ponies under the hood. Except when you figure that I live at about 5000 feet above sea level, and that cut's about 20-25% of power right there. But I still think it's a decent truck, until I can afford a Hummer like Bruce drives (:-)!!!! I'm not sure where Lincoln is right off the top of my head, but I figure it's probably a good 8 hour drive from here. Let's go chase some wind storms, the season is soming up fast and Kansas aint too far away!! Take care,
DAN
