would like to know the Am power vr number for the 100,also the amc,alc vr number for the 150R Question; On the roger beep on the 150R and squeal in this radio are they related, if they are how can I or which one should be ajusted first,and can anyone explain to me why this squeal exsists when you open the mike gain wide open (confused!!!!)

the squeuling part i can answer... i'm forget the numbers for the alc and vr. in both radios.
the squeuling comes from that C.D.S. or what ever that noise filter is called on the cherokee's if you open the radio and with it facing you. there will be a board attached to the side of the radio. take that off and u'll see a real long black wire. shorten where there is no slack.(tech from wireless communitcation gave me that heads up) so far it seems to work fine in the ones i've messed with.

on the 150 alc =vr12 am power vr13 am mod amc adjust vr14 power on the 100 is vr 13
