Here is a question, do you like to use your mobil or your base radio the most, as for myself I like to use the mobil as it is away from my neibors and I can talk, talk, talk, sense of freedom. and no wife montering my bull. Buck you be quiet, no Bull talk. ha ha |

I use the base more than the mobile. I have the mobile in my vehicle and use it once in a while.. |

I like taking the car out to a high spot in the county and working SSb DX from the mobile. That is just too cool. |

Base, for the simple reason that you can have so much more antenna. Mobile is fine, but to really reach out, especially "line of site" you need much more antenna gain than you can get with the typical mobile antenna installation. Also no traffic distractions. sb106. |

LOL i have a kick butt base station at the folkses house but when im with the g/f she lives in an apartment and no outside antennas allowed.. |

I mainly use my base station, but have finally set up my mobile with quite the setup so I'll be evening it out a bit more.

I prefer base but I have not got a rotor for my MR4 yet so,mobiling right along.(lol)I'm enjoying getting back to basic radio,working coast to coast on 25watts and a 102" whip.lovin the challange!!!Stepchild |
