Welcome Tempedave and Leadfoot

You are going to loooove this forum.

Copper has gone to great lengths to make this forum what it is today. Unlike Brand-X, Y, and Z forums, this one is very well moderated. Hence, no bickering, no name calling and no cutting or pinning of each others coax is allowed. And I don't think any of our Techs have had their tower pulled down in weeks.

We pretty much police ourselves here otherwise there's a chance we might have to answer to the 1st Sargant. But that's another story.

Copper has brought in some VERY good "Professional Techs". When I say "Professional", I mean that all of these guys have a "Professional" electronics background. I have been involved with radio for over 30 years both personally and business-wise. When I got to reading and questioning the Tech's posts, I was soon humbled. I found out just how much I don't know.

For me, Coppers Forum is like taking a refresher course in electronics. Some may even look at this forum as a free correspondence school with some kick-a$$ Techs as their professors. But thanks to the great people that hang out here, whether they be the Pros or the regulars, I guarentee you're going to learn something here. That's why we keep coming back here as often as possible.

And speaking of regulars, one of the plus sides of this forum is, other than the Techs, there are also some pretty sharp regulars here that are more than willing to answer any questions you may have and also personally assist you in modifications or repair work through Email if neccesary.

So, if you guys enjoy radio as much as the rest of us do, then this is the place to be. Sometimes we get serious, sometimes we get stupid, and sometimes we get funny. But we always get to learn something.

Yep. This is the mother-board of all radio forums. We love it. Welcome to Copper's Forum.

Jeff, kc0gxz.

PS: Don't forget to be here early Sunday morning for church service.
