Anybody know which pot in a cobra19 plus radio controls the Tvi. I want to have a little fun with the Cars in my block with a little 300 watt amp.

Not sure if you'll have to adjust anything. Most RC controlled cars usually transmit around the 27 MHZ range anyway. That does sound like fun though!! LOL!!!!!!!!!

Oh, you must be talking about having some fun running a linear with someone that has a loud boomin' system in their car. That's actually a little more fun!! Sorry about the foul up. I would just clip the audio limiter in that radio and then you should bleed over a little more. Sorry but I don't have the specs on that radio.

Dave,

It may sound like fun, but intentionally generating spurious interference is not neighborly ...

Dave,

although it sounds like entertainment to you, it has more of a negative impact on all CB'rs in general. Intentionally causing interference, or general "hate and discontent" could cause adverse opinions and/or future actions against any CB'er.

I don't think this represents anything close to what CB radio was designed for, or in my opinion what it should be used for. I'll just ask you to reconsider your thoughts a bit.

OK, I have long been thinking of ways to use radio in a creative manner, specifically to combat those rolling boomboxes. I have a busy intersection about 40 ft from my apartment. The kids seem to have no problem with pulling to a stop with the stereo blasting out at what sounds like deadly volume at all hours of the night.

I think we all know the propensity of CD players to pick up strong 27MHz signals. I figure about 1000w, within about 25-50ft of the car would do it. If a nominal gain beam were used, you do the math. Now, how to go about creating havoc. What if one were to build a system whereby a trigger circuit tuned to frequencies below 200hz were set to monitor a sensitive microphone aimed out at the street, perhaps with a parabolic reflector behind to give some directionality(like aimed at the stoplight area) If the mic picks up a sustained note below 200hz, it would key the radio transmitter(with a compact beam aimed at the same stoplight area) and transmit the received microphone audio back out about 180 degrees out of phase and at a rather high mod level. IF the CD player picks up the transmission and blasts it out, this should set up a nasty rumble on those 15's or best case, cancel out the low freqs altogether. I wonder which would work best, AM or FM mod? What about SSB?

Mind you, this is all hypothetical ;-)

You guys are soooo bad!!! LOL!!!
But we need to combat these little punks with the loud BOOM BOOM BOOM stereos. But it doesnt help matters with the bad so called music they like. Hip hop is not music as far as i am concerned it is just noise....
Rap is •••• with the C removed.. LOL

rap isnt music you are correct, it is spoken word poetry over a simple and often electronicly made beat. now rap isnt noise. real noise is made by noiseisians, (yes theres noiseisians)like 7 layer static, human flesh goat shed, eris never died, and other stuff like that.

http://www.polarismine.com/erisneverdied/erisneverdied.html

now thats noise. if you want to lock down a channel, the mp3s on the site mentioned above played over the air with at least 90% steady modulation will cause some chaos on the air. why listen to a noise floor when you can be the noise floor?

CM_3885,
I've not seen that set. Maybe I'll have to look for it too. The race to e-Bay is on!"G". By the way, my oldest son's (12) favorite song is "Free-Bird" He's learning to play it on the Electric guitar! Then we can JAM together, can't wait.

Wal Mart never has anything that i want so i rule that out.. ARRGHH! Kinda like the CB shop deal drive all over for something small and simple because rat shack pretty much never has anything i want..
