Holy Jumpin' Jelly Beans Batman!!! I think that's the radio of all radio's. Maybe not but very good looking piece of equipment. I bet the $8,000 price tag is right too!! Who needs a house? Sell it, live in a cheesebox and transmit with that baby!!! I'll stay in the house!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!! |

DAMN! I got drool all over the keyboard. Not to mention hand prints all over the screen from trying to play with the radio. That is one awesome looking radio. The features are awesome as well. Now, where can I get the money for that??? |

and heres the info
Kenwood debuted its latest mobile HF prototype at the Dayton Hamvention. This rig is capable of 200watts on HF and 100watts on 6 meters. A large alphanumeric LCD is accompanied by a large tuning knob and plenty of control buttons on a detached face plate. Expect to see this radio in the market place by early 2004.

Looks like Kenwood finally bit at the FT-100D and the IC-706 mobiles. I used a friend's 706MKII G for a while. It is a sweet rig. If you want any talk power on a ham rig for AM, get an Icom. That 706 would key 40 watts and swing 130. Every yeasu I've heard on am you have to squint your ears to make anything out, NO MODULATION, and I haven't heard any kenwood's on am. |

Man, I sure do feel sorry for the women that have the men that have that big booger!!!.........lol Yeah, grounds for divorce is right, some women wouldn't be understanding, but I know that my boyfriends radios are just as important as me ;)!!!! In fact, he loves his radios so much, that I'm not allowed to touch them........lol!! Go figure......hehehehe. |

Ummmmm o.....k..... Who are you Hoosiergirl and how do you know me?? LOL! I think she meant her boyfriends radios as singular in that her boy-friend has a few radios not meant as she has several guys.. LOL
