used 40 channel CB handhelds are waay over priced...in pawn shops around here they cost as uch or MORE than a mobile cb... and dont have half the features........ but a motorist could buy one of those and keep up fairly well with traffic and info with NO outside antenna , with a cigarette lighter adapter to keep from running the batteries down (aa)...keep up with the BEARS and wrecks and stuff....you wont hear more than a mile or two away with the radio laying in the seat... but you get what you pay for.

To PROPERLY adjust her swr you would have to slide your tuning stub inside and out to get proper match.....it could take several dozen tries to get it right !!!
