if you wish you can use the one in my profile for now. Once settled in here in Washington, and setting up a new shack, I'll get a picture for you if you still need/want it. I don't know how quickly you need one.
I am using a borrowed friends computer and the movers still have mine so I have no access to the photo except my profile picture.

Bruce, heck yeah! Now for the secretive Tech833 who maintains animosity, hmmmm....I keep wondering if he's Gordon West but the background (what he does for a living) doesn't add up? Batman and Robin, maybe animosity is cool afterall....
aw heck, I know he will reveal his identity when he wants to (as stated in a previous post). What about those other folks?

I met Gordon West the first time in 1992, as we did some work for the same company at the time. I have had many meetings with Gordon since. He is a good man, and a good speaker. He is very kind and gracious. He knows his 'stuff', but his 'stuff' and my 'stuff' aren't exactly the same. There is some overlap, but I don't consider 1,500 watts to be high power. Nor do I consider a 100 foot tower to be tall. Nor do I consider 50 miles to be 'good coverage'.
Gordon does an excellent job of keeping the hams and electronics experimenters happy. However, he would never be able to last long at my job or keep my clients happy. We are in much different fields. |

I am away on vacation.... will be back after the fourth. I'll send a picture then... Just have to figure out how to get all those boat anchors in one picture...

I have some pix of my equipment, but don't have any pix with me in them. Will have to pick up some film and take new pix.
I think this is a cool idea. It would be interesting see what some y'all look like and along with your shacks.
Karatebutcher's pic would probably come out blank. hehe

This was my shack for a few weekends early this summer. While I was working on my in-laws' addition (the huge porch) I had the 2 meter HT nearby and the mobile CB on, monitoring.
Within the next week or so I will clean some of the clutter from my shack and submit photos.

Oh yeah, this picture was right after the shingles but before the gutter, the skirt, and the concrete landing. I guess I should update the photo!
I was just trying to post something to get things started. I think we should be able to preview the photos right on this thread!
