Smoran30,

The wiring for the 2510 is:

Pin #1 ~ AUDIO
Pin #2 ~ SHIELD
Pin #3 ~ TRANSMIT
Pin # 4 & 5 Ch Up & Down

If you have a Cobra CA - 70 or 72 or a Stock Cobra Mic the wiring is posted above.

Glad to see another from Ill on here.

Smoran30,

Pretty much all mics have different wiring connection's.

Just hooking up the same color wire does not mean it does the same thing inside the Mic or in the Mic plug.

You need to know what kind and model of Mic you have and what it used to be wired to, also what kind and model of radio you want to wire it to.

What Kind and Model of Cobra mic are you trying to wire for the 2510?

If you are useing a STOCK 5 PIN COBRA Mic from a 90/140/148/2000 the wiring is:

PIN #1 ~ AUDIO
PIN #2 ~ SHIELD
PIN #3 ~ RECEIVE
PIN #4 ~ Sw. WIRE
PIN #5 ~ TRANSMIT
