Was wondering if the HC 5 would work well in my plus 3 desk mike. The old grey version is what i have and it works well and the mike looks like new but i was wondering if the HC 5 would pep it up a bit or would that be a waste of time and $$$? Or, maybe try it in my plus 2???????? Any input? |

It won't fit. That cone in the turner is your cartridge. I put a Heil #4 in a stock RCI mic and it works super. |

It might work in a plus 2 since it used a regular round element cartridge.. The Heil website shows a mod for the plus 2 mike head. |

the heils aren't very big so you don't need much room. I'm very happy with the #4 I have. Heil suggested to put a piece of cardboard behind the cartridge. |

Isnt that the catridge used for contesting that has a "tinny" sound compared to the #5? |
