Jimmy396,

Click on the link below,

http://www.copperelectronics.com/cgi-bin/product_display.cgi?categories=RADIOS-CB+MOBIL

This will take you to the Copper Radio's CB MOBILE page.

You will find that Copper carries the Texas Ranger 121,296,396 & 696F Mobile's as well as many other brands/models.

You can also click on the link to the left of this column that says Copper's Main Page.

When you get there you can use Product Search or Catagory Search for about anything you are looking for.

Doesn't the 148F have the EPT6900-10Z board? And I thought that was a Galaxy board.

Viking,

The 6900-10Z board is used in the Cobra 148GTL-DX, Connex 4400, 4800, Galaxy DX2517, Ranger 99, RCI 2960,2980,6300, as well as several other radio's/brand's.

Galaxy buys the boards from the same place that other Radio makers do.

It is just not very cost effective to make your own board for just a few radios/models.

Which is the export version of the 148F that has the band selector? Did it come with all bands available out of the box or as a 10 meter like the VR 9000?
