I have been in Vegas since sept. 99, but just hooked up a 11m radio this weekend. I have been tuning around since Friday night and can't find any activity. Does anybody know if there is any local activity here and if so where/when?
Thanks

Got to stop this here ha.,ha. truckers will be truckers, but most residents here don't gamble. it's to common for most of us. As a matter of fact most of us avoid the strip area with all the bad driving tourists and congestion. You can't get me to go near the place, in addtion in my case I do frequent repairs there during work. Girls do look nice thats for sure, anyway I'm sure there must be some type of activity here on the radio I see many antennas around, just got to catch it!

I'm afraid it's that way all over 738, not much activity on CB any more. Guess all the skip noise (which is down for a few years now), cell phones, computers, and MURS all have that effect. Other than truckers on 19 and 2 or 3 local bad attitudes on 12, I would say the band is completly dead around these parts. It's too bad because I know there are lots of guys and gals with CB's but just don't bother any more. Hope things change. sb106

Well I'm just going to have to save a few good Hams from the darkside Ha., ha. and bring them over to 11M and have some fun. Sometimes you just got to stir things up.
