I thought it was funny even though it may not reflect my opinion. I have reserved that until I know much more than we know now. |

I was kind of disappointed in this link! I figured it would at least have a picture of the, FAMOUS ***GOLDEN SCREWDRIVER*** The most ""DANGEROUS"" weapon of MASS DESTRUCTION to the Radio World that was ever invented. I have seen the damage over the years of this EVIL WEAPON of MASS DESTRUCTION, and know it has attacked many Radio's & Radio Equipment. I have never had a chance to actually see it live, or a picture of it. Appears to be very Elusive like the Famous BIGFOOT. Most operator's that bring there equipment in say they are not SURE, but they have every indication that this EVIL VARMIT has attacked there equipment in the past. Oh Well, better get back to work. Tech808 Lon. Do you know of anyone that has ever been injured by this FAMOUS ***GOLDEN SCREWDRIVER*** of mass destruction? And if so, how do we protect ourselves. Last time is was duct tape and plastic. Black tape this time perhaps? Jeff, kc0gxz. |

ryan That's right Ryan. This is what happens when unfriendly countrys get nuclear capabilities. Sadly, they begin to convince themselves that they are big and bad and start threatening everyone within their reach. N. Korea has already threatened us with war with their "we want this, we want that" AND "you better not do that, you better not do this" krap. Sooner or later, I think we're going to tangle. And personally speaking, I think it's about time. It will be the perfect opportunity to send the message to ALL haters of America by letting them know that that we (USA) are tired of being f----d with. And when threatened, stand-by. We're coming. Locked and loaded. And this time, we just might have to pull the big guns out. That should get their attention. May GOD continue to bless us all and the wonderful FREEDOM we have in our country. Without either one of them, we're better off dead. Jeff, kc0gxz. |

kc0gxz Jeff, Well, I do know a few who have come in have left with an "Injured Billfold/Wallet" when they left, do to repairs. I imagine they wait to get home to cry, (you know the manly thing to do). One gentleman did honestly say he got knocked across the room when he was trying to replace a transformer in his saturn, and tried to cut a wire he thought was an Extra/not needed wire for something with the power on. But that was a pair of little metal wire cutters not the Golden Screwdriver. Instead of the Duct Tape and plastic, I have noticed there is one of our customers who loves a Hot Glue Gun. Lon Tech808 |

Tech808 I don't remember if it was you or not, but the VERY BEST "GOLDEN SCREWDRIVER" story I EVER heard came from right here from Copper's forum. It was about a guy that bought a brand new radio and then wanted to return it a few days later because it wouldn't work anymore. His mindset thought it to be a piece of junk. After opening the radio, it was discovered that ALL of the cans had their slugs turned all the way to the bottom. And when asked about it, the owner of the radio said that he had to tighten up all the screws in it because they were loose. I laughed for days over that on whenever I thought about it.
