I took my son fishing today and he is 9 and was the only one who caught a fish and he is very proud that he wanted everyone to see it,,,,by the way we use barbless hooks and he likes to catch and release ,,,,,even this which is the largest fish he ever caught at 4 pound 3 ounces

Always like to see a young'un fishing.Tell him that Bullseye (191-The NOMAD outta Central Florida) says congratulations on the catch and especially the catch and release. I've always said "If you let them go you can catch'em when their bigger". Remember if you put them back you can enjoy them over and over again!!! |

Nice Fish... Sharp looking boy too. Gotta be proud. If you don't already have one add a radio to the boat and your set. I run the Wabash river here in Indiana. I had, until I recently sold it to buy a outboard Jet, a 20 foot aluminum jon boat with a 115hp Suzuki four stroke outboard. Decked it out with a Galaxy radio modified and a amp with a direct mount Firestick KW-6. Man talk about talking...! 20 feet on aluminum on the water makes a great ground plane. Kattracker |

Up here in the northern part on Indiana the lakes i used to fish out of are pretty much dead good fishing wise so i stick to the good ol' farm ponds. Have MUCH, MUCH, better luck out of them! Caught 33 palm sized bluegills and a 16" bass out of one last month! I think the lakes are pretty much fished out IMHO... |
