Would you still use your I-max 2000 if it didn't have a GPK?

Do you feel the I-max GPK gives you I-max 2000 that needed edge to rise above most of the rest?

Mikefromms:
The ground plane kit will give you more bandwith,in other words your SWR will be lower in more frequency range,I test this with a diferent antenna with and without GP,my test gave me more channels or frequencys with low SWR.
Notrmally will cover about 1.8Mhz. but with the ground plane this will be extended probably to 2Mhz. or a little over.

Good Luck

Read "AGAIN" Tech833's testing done on the I-Max 2KW and the GPK that he did in the Product Review Section of the forum. It is so clearly written and explained that their should be no question about it, my friend.

The GPK helps reduce TVI if any is present and may enhance receive in some applications. It does nothing to boost transmitted RF. It was not designed to boost RF.

The only way it will (in your words) "rise above most of the rest", is to mount it 1000 feet above "most of the rest"
