We have had some confusion.

I kind of made a snafoo in my order and only did the 30$ peak & tune, and forgot to add into the order about it to be done by 307 :(

Soooo, 307 will most likely be receiving my radio for him to do his magic on it :)

I got too excited and forgot to add it in.

Taz got a Lincoln? Cool. Hey Taz- Just a tip... If you are looking for a good mic to put on it, try an Astatic Silver Eagle. It will romp and sound extra good.

Bigbob,

I don't know all your answers but here is some. The Lincoln is manufactured by President. From what I understand (which I cannot verify), is a company owned by Uniden.

The boards inside the President ARE Uniden boards. Numbers I am unsure of.

The latest version has a MRF 455 as it's final (transistor). I'm unsure of the driver.

I know of no bases that equal it, but I don't know it all by any means. President makes no base units anymore.

Modulation can be turned up, and it sounds exceptional on SSB stock. It rocks with a D104 or 575 Astatic mic.

That's the best I can supply.

Manufactured by President. I would say the receive is better since I have heard and talked on both. mobile, it uses an mrf455 final low level modulation I think and a vfo.

High/low level modulation? Isn't it's am circuit about the same as a 148/grant/25/galaxy....? It could use a little more audio gain if you need over 120% modulation. I can make mine(2510) dead key 2 watts and swing to 15 watts on an average reading meter. I don't keep the AMC set there because 90%-100% sounds great and is plenty loud. I do use the mic gain button, depending on conditions or my mood.

The FM is great too. You can adjust the deviation from nothing to over 12khz, 10 to 12 being plenty loud.

I wish I could grab a couple Lincolns now, just to make sure I am never without one. My 2510 has some years on it. It was made in 1988 and I am the second owner. I've had it for over 3 years and have used it almost every day since.
