The Mav A24 is a smoke blower for sure, BUT, is sensitive to ground or impedance mismatch. If your system is working properly (well grounded, 50 ohms) you'll be very pleased with this radio. With Copper's basic tune it will scream. Keep in mind the variable power of this radio is capable of going WAY above what it should, so do not exceed 10w AM carrier or 15w FM carrier.
