I am interested in this amp. I see two models, a 200P which is a pre-amp model and the 203 which is not.
Why does the 203 cost $10 dollars more if their is no pre-amp and runs the same power as the 200P?
Am I missing something?
I don't feel I need a pre-amp but if I have the option with the same power output and save $10 dollars it seems like a no brainer.
Thanks,
Pointman

The 200p has an always on preamp. This can be a scenario for the preamp transistor to fail unless modified to turn off/on. The 203's output performance is slightly better.
