Gator,

Anything is possible my friend, BUT! I would not suggest it.

It is a Whole lot easier to assemble everything on the ground and get your SWR's set, Coax hooked up and sealed, and then pull it up with a rope.

Saves a LOT OF TIME and HEADACHES.

Get a long piece of rope, tie one end to the antenna run it through the top step of tower and the other end around that calf that broke your finger, smack her on the rump and your antenna will be up in no time.

Just my thought's

Put it on a big pipe (10ft) and support it with a rod in the ground to stand it up with. Then put it together on a ladder.

ive got a short section of tower i build beams on
its tall enuff for me to reach the boom.
after its built and adjusted the best i can on this tower it goes to a 25ft test tower were it gets final tweeks and is run awhile to test performance.

if its mine, i put it up like Lon says.

using 3 ropes 2 of them are for the beam to glides up on and the 3rd is used to pull it up with.
but a moonraker 4 i just carry up with me as i climb the tower."always use a belt" i also have a S hook made from flat aluminum stock with me incase i need to just hang the beam in place for a moment for what ever reason.like hooking up guy wires ect as you go.

Last time I put mine up I just hauled the whole thing up in a bucket truck and stuck er' up on the mast and fastened it down were it resides today!! Been up there well over 7 years and hasnt failed yet.. 10 years ago or so when I had my first set (lost them in a ice storm in early 1995) I had a guy hoist them up a section at a time. It was a pain in the arse to say the least! Thays why I went the bucket truck route.. Sooo much quicker and a whole lot safer..
