Hi all I would like to get a moble amp for my Galaxy DX 93T in the next couple of months. I have read on this forum suggestions for bigger amps than I want at this time.(ie. sweet sixteen etc.) I'm looking for something in the 350-500w range that I can use for ssb. Thanks in advance. Lyn |

The Texas Star DX500 would work. |

Daves Made, there is no finer mobile amp. You can get a one driving two, or a one driving 4, I have had both, and they scream. |

if you want to sound nice and clean stay way from the class c competition amps like the dave mades ect, palomars seem to be lacking as well. ive always had good audio reports with texas star equipment. and you will need a amp that will take the drive level that radio puts out. id stay way from any one pill driving 4 pill and instead go with a straight 4 pill amp. id look into the dx500 671 mentioned! im not very familar with it myself but im sure he is. |

TX Satr is definetly the way to go!! If you can get an older one from like 10 years ago or so they are even better than whats made today! I have owned them all aside from the 1200 and 1600 and liked them all but my overall fave was the DX 500..... :-) |

I currently have the TS 667v but for your radio I would lean toward the Magna Force. They are the same as the X-Force but with SSB and different switches. Kinda like Chevy and GMC. It has a built in fan that I wish the Texas Star had. |

I used to have an X-Force box (8 pill) that was a great box. Have had several Texas Stars, wasnt impressed with them. |
