Our little blue planet is catching a large solar storm wave right now!!! Those of you that live in the north might get to see a real aurora show tonight!! The skip should also roll as the d/e/f layers charge up!! Hope to hear you CEF members |

Skip was good and sporadic last night. I heard Iowa,m S.C., Georgia, Illinois, Missouri and Florida. Sept. 1st. I called for CEF members with no luck. Try again tonight if conditions permit. mikefromms CEF #171. |

6 meters was open for a long time. The 5054DX was on for most of it. |

High latitudes 30%, mid latitudes 20% also a class(m) flare 5% Aroral moving down to mid latitudes. D region looks good tonight. Had this stuff in college. I looked in (NASA) space weather tonight. Thats what its says, But do not rely on space weather it changes to fast.Its 55% at its best.But we are getting better.But what is best is just tune a beacon on a band if you hear it--go for it. I do like to work the auroral its good skip.11 meter & 10 dead in Iowa now. 40 & 75 meter (Wow) is all i can say. (Hal) |
