Hi, I am new to Cb'ing and I would like to use the radio with my motorcycle.

I plan on useing my Cobra CMX38.

What I would like to do is make a custom headset for my CB.

Does anyone know of a site that might be able to help me out?? I understand that I need to either make a PTT button or buy one already made. would like to use a telephone type headset if possible.

The helmet I use is a shorty and does not enclose my ears, so would like to get a wrap around the ear type.

Anything would be a help.

Thx, shotgnz

i made a PTT mic with my cobra 45WX that clipped on my shirt collar. you just hook up a button in series with the mic to key it

So how and what did you connect?? The Cobra radio utilizes a 2.5 & 3.5 plug input.

How about a throat mic? They are relatively cheap and made specifically for high noise environments
They come with either a button PTT or VOX.
