2:15 A.M. Saturday night....A slight pinch , then I was on the floor with my knees slamming my chin. In 1/2 hour my insides came out through my mouth (throw up). I dragged myself to the car and drove to the St. Cloud Hospital with a bucket on the drivers side floor board (you know what that was for). I was put on a table within 45 minutes and diagnosed with a 5mm Kidney Stone. You know the number one thing in the US????? Morphine , it was the only thing that saved me from lights out........Laser Surgery this week blew it up....WHEEEEEW!!!! 307 |

307 Yes, I know very well what you went through. Both my wife and I have been through that. Myself, on two different occasions. My wife told me that for her the pain was was worse than having her first baby. I believe her. 5mm? There's no way you could have passed that one. Now that's "pain" my friend. I'm happy to hear that you survived it. I've never heard of one that large. WOW!!! Jeff, kc0gxz. |

Been there... done that... Had over 15 stones since 1994 Worst one took 2 full "hits" of Dilaudid IV push and I still was hurting at 5 (out of 10). Couldn't have more meds 'cause of breathing concerns.. It gets better though, passed one the other day and didn't even know I had one... Kind of like having multiple babies I guess, Whoop... there it is!!! |

I understand to some degree what the pain must've been like I don't go for oneupmanship but I had an impacted bowel and had to have surgery, probably the lowest point in my life, the pain was horrendous,I couldn't walk 3 days till after the surgery and yes puking was involved,I wouldn't wish it even on sadam husein. |

Bigbob You're too nice. Personally, I would wish that and much more on Sadam Husein for the things he has done to his people and the way they had to live during his 30 year reign of terror. Jeff, kc0gxz. |
