September 11 of 2003 is Comeing up this Thursday , People seam to be on edge or upset about things, On the air and off. And yes makes me wonder about what happen on that fatefull day. Yes we are at war again, My thoughts go out to the guys & girls fighting the war, And i Thinkabout them every night & Sunday. No im not preaching just thinking of our troops and people like you and me. War makes scars on people one way or another. I know we will win this war. Think Happy thoughts my freinds. I Know this not radio Forum material, But this has been my observation this week. To put it simply im on edge too. 73's Hal |

Lowpowarhal you are right people are jumpy and we are fighting a different kind of war but dont be fooled it is a war.I served for 8 years (83-91)and I say a prayer for our troops everyday and hope the people of this country give them all the support they need.

You said your not preaching, so what if you were?
It certainly would not offend me... That is one of the big things wrong with this world. Nobody wants to preach, and more so, nobody wants to be preached too.
Of course you know I am mainly referring to the good book.(Bible) People have turned their backs on God and have went in the way of Cain. They want to do their own thing their own way.
As far as the down turn in moods, ...yes, I have noticed the same thing. It is a build up of negative spritual energy from the dark side.
I and many other Christians who know the book and prophesy see that we are in the latter days. And in those days people will grow colder and colder in heart. I could go on and on, but the forum would not be the better avenue for this.
If anyone wants to discuss this any further please use my e-mail address as this being a radio forum we had better keep it in perspective.
Go ahead and preach, I'll listen to ya.

Amen from me too. I'm thinking about that dreadful day more as it's two-year anniversary approaches. God rest the souls of our fellow-Americans who died that day. God bless and keep save our solders in the middle-east and direct the hearts of this great nation back to God the way it used to be before it's too late.

Excellent, excellent post.
Our government and Supreme Court has failed to stand their ground when it come to God and Christianity. They have obviously forgotten one of the reasons why we wanted our independence from the British.
Back in the 70s when they stood down to one atheist's wishes, (a woman who is now dead), Christianity was removed from our schools and state. Now, according to the Supreme Court, God has no business being there.
Too many people have forgotten that our Constitution was written by men who were true believers in God. And also the fact that this country was founded on the princibles of God and Christianity.
But, not to worry. Our bible tells us that one of the signs we will witness before His return, will be a mass return to Christianity by the people.
And when he does return, stand by, because I doubt very much that He will be in too good of a mood. Mankind wordlwide that have/do not believed and followed Him, WILL pay the altimate price. Weapons of mass destruction are kids play as compared to what He is going to do.
Copper Electronics apparently are good to their word when they said we can talk about any subject in the Open Forum section. So I'm guessing they will not bow down to the atheists's wishes by assisting them in their futile efforts to rid our country of God and Christainity. In other words, it looks like this may be a good "avenue" after all Kat. My hat is off to Copper for that.

Sorry iv been away from this post been putting a lot of overtime lately.All of you that posted this last week thank you all. WE made it past 9-11-03. Maybe it was because of a whole lot of people doing a bunch ofPraying.I shur did. Take one day at a time, And hope and pray the next day comes. Yes and i thank Coppers for this forum.We are big happy family that can talk to each other and learn about cb and ham radio and the net and also meet new freinds.And iv met them, right on this forum.
