hey bruce did you get that email with those specs for the jo gunn 8x8 beam.
id post it here but im not good at that kinda thing.
thought the guys would get a kick out of it though
21.5 db gain......30 db gain for audio power boost. |

I thought i sent you a responce WHAT A HOOT !
21.5db on a 1 wave boom and as a added bonus 30 db of AUDIO GAIN ! WOW this antenna gives you a 9 db boost in audio over rf WOW !
For 20 years ive buged them to show me how you measure audio gain COMMON JOGUNN MAKE MY DAY!
Nothing frosts me faster than to see a manufacture taking advantage of the buyer like they are doing .... well bullet wait untill you see my new antenna yep it will not only have AUDIO gain but VIDEO gain too! so my antenna will not only allow you to HEAR the diffrence but SEE it too!

Manufacturers, such as the fine folks at Jo Gunn, have dedicated their lives to the pursuit of "high gain audio" antennas Bruce. Cmon now..;) In all seriousness, even if they did do what they were spec'd at, I'd be afraid it would blow down in a big wind and crush my house! |

Yes they did I sent a request for the field test data the E and H plane and the equiptment used. I also asked for the forumar for audio gain and how it related to the rf gain of the antenna. I followed this up with a phone call asking to talk to the design engineer or at least someone involved in product testing. Well i got a CATALOG ( FREE ) thats it ...........
And you wonder why JOGUNN touches me off? |
