Man I got that pretty new Omegaforce S45 today, looks like it's as good as advertised, got some local checks this afternoon, and a bunch of long distant checks, blows smoke on AM and sideband. One watt key on AM talks 40 watts easy, and does that ever swing that low drive amp nice. Sideband goes a little over 40 watts. Variable power works on AM and Sideband. Really user friendly also, just had to look at the book for one thing, setting memory channels, AND it does have a nice operating manual with schematics and board layout. More on it later. I forgot to mention, it came from Copper of course, and with their "quality performance check" the radio was ready to go. More on it later after I check it out. scrapiron |
