After reading all the post that were made in reference to my post titled " Copper forum: Getting too tight around the collar for me".

I feel a few things need to be brought up and settled here and now. I am a bit dissapointed at the behavior some of the members have demonstrated in support for me.

Be clear on this! When I made my post about leaving, it was meant to merely be a honest statement of my opinion and reason why I intended to leave. NOT an invitation or call-out to recruit an army to destroy the Copper Forum!

For those who jumped on my bandwagon,...I wish you had not done so. Although some of you may have felt you were supporting me, this has gone WAY out of proportion and caused a BIG and unneccesary burden on the Copper forum.

First of all, I take the blame for my lack of insight as I did not think my post would had made such a big impact. My prior post was not intended to be a starting point for every disgruntled member to rub elbows with me and start slamming the forum and it's members, rules, moderators or anything else.

My post was done in the spirit of an innocent explanation and was taken wrong by the moderators and many members. AGAIN, (yes, I'm yelling) THIS WAS NOT INTENDED TO CAUSE DIVISION!. I was simply saying bye, I'm outta here, this is why.

For those of you that are dissatisfied, I asked that you remain silent. You have the right to do what you want, but I would appreciate if everyone would let this settle. This was not intended to cause division.

I would ask this. If you are unhappy with things as I am so be it. Move on if that is what you want. But, if you stay on this forum then consider the matter settled and let this and my prior post settle, enough is enough!

I and many others have made their point. I see no reason to drag this out any further.

This is the best forum I have found in spite of my indifference and ask that the people who supported me in my prior post to reconsider. If you really feel that way, fine, do what you have to do, but please let this matter rest in relative peace.

My intentions of staying or leaving at this point is undecided. However, whatever I decide to do is my business. Should I leave, I ask that no one tries to do me any favors and makes post in support of me and cause further problems.

If I should stay, I also ask that no one continues with this and my prior post.

Let's let this dog go to sleep and then let sleeping dogs alone.

So again, I apologize to the Copper Forum, all of its members and moderators and anyone else that may have been affected with this matter.

I wish you all the best,
Kattracker

Kattracker, forget it and stay here. We all get ticked now and then about whatever. You sound like you really love this site. I enjoy your post on radios and antennas.

jay,
the easiest and best way would be to send it to 307. many do not know this but the galaxy line of radios using the 3600 board, such as the 99, must have the rxer retuned to the cb band(they come from the factory tuned to the 10mtr ham band) for it to rx at optimum performance. if this isn't done, then a cobra 19 will out hear it. i saw a picture of 307's bench so i know he has the right equipment to put that 99 where it should be.

not trying to tell you what to do, but if i had a radio that cost that much, i would make sure all parts of it worked as best as possible.

maybe the forum master will let me send in some tracking generator photos of these radios to be posted so others can see what i mean(it looks like a 'halfpipe' ramp for you x games fans). the 3600 board is the only radio with this problem. the newer radios use varactors to shift the passband.

After a lot of thinking about the matter, speaking with people via e-mail, reading the recent post and request to stay, I have decided to hang in and remain an active forum member.

I appreciate all the support regarding staying on the forum and look forward to continued use of the forum.

Again, thanks to all.
