They do it cause there is no money in enforcement of the average person and they only get involved if you actually are causing enough TVI to bother someone important. Tehn they get involved. Face it there's more money in fining someone who can pay the fine. |

NITE MARE The policing of CB operators is at the botton of the FCC (things to do) list. Back during the Clinton Administration, many government programs took a drastic cut in not only funding but personal too. The FCC was just one of the those agencys that was downsized. For the CBer, I guess it worked out to a good thing. Other than that,I can't think of anything that the Clinton Administration ever did that was worth printing. Jeff, kc0gxz. |

Ever heard, "breaktown, breaktown, breaktown" from topgun big gun?? He sits here with a truck load of linear and wipes out 10, 11 and 12 yelling this garbage, sometimes all day long. I've got his LP info and a contact with fcc and may see about taking him down. This garbage is really bad. I may loose all 3 of these bands for a full day to his nonsense. |

kcOgxz in my area the fcc downed sized during the bush senior era!!i don't think bill was a govenior then.now there is a cell phone dish on the tower that use to have ground planes and four element flats,as well as the ham antennas that were there. the main man there was j.j.freeman know on the cb channels here as fcc 1000. and when he broke the air waves all you could hear was him!and he never seemed like he was barefooted.he and his agents brought terror to hamptonroads.they would come to your house, and pull your antenna down, take your gear and search your car, and arrest you and give you a ticket to appear in court.and through all of that i still miss him.after hours he was a good guy!!!so around here BILL HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!! |

392- Why not "salt" his neighborhood with a nice modified RC car controller or old walkie talkie running on a gel cell, with a bit of a mod to make it send intermittent beeps? He won't have much fun if he can't hear any replies. I had this problem once and cured it quite easily in that manner. I was lucky enough to have buddy who lived three houses down from the offending jerk, and my buddy had no problems with running my "saltshaker" on a wall wart 24/7 |

707 The thing is he's mobile, always moving around but staying in town. It's really bad. My s meter just goet to 20 onall 3 bands when he talks and like they were saying above, on CB you can hear him about the same on 20 channels or so so I can believe it when they do their own split channel thing. "breaktownbreaktownbreaktownbreaktown!!!!!!!!" pretty bad, 392 |

Ahhh yes, Brother J.J. from Military Hwy, Norfolk, VA. He died several years back, miss him greatly. Used to come down here in the sticks of Western Va. in his bibbed overalls and show up on your door step, always leaving with a smile on his face and amplifiers under his arms! The good ole days of FCC enforcement. |

Well...it seems to me that if they can run mega watts, they must have mega bucks. I know of an individual that made the newspaper and t.v., the f.c.c. shut him down, he was back up and running in less than 12 months with more than he had the first time. Wildbill |
