Hehehe.....it blongs to a friend. He's putting it back up after yrs of being off of 11 meters ( yes he's a ham) and needs the measurements for the elements. |

dx431 the manual says slide the top four sections in approx 2 and one half inches so that from the top of the bottom section to the top of the antenna comes to 183 inches.(the top four sections). the radial lenght should be 103 and one quarter inches. also limit power to about 200 watts. |

I had one of these back in the 70's on a 50 foot pole. Best I remember it was quite the unit and really got out. Sorry, I don't remember the specs.

Know what your looking for and watch ebay, a few months ago I was the only bidder for a Archer 21-1133 which is a CLR 2, it was new in the box for $45 + s&h, I'm not real sure but I beleive the Midland 18-229 and the Royce 2-250 are CLR 2s also. |

So its pretty much like my Old avanti sigma 5/8 wave? That antenna is a good one! Mine looks like new, all shiny and all!!! |

RCI2990, The Sigma 5\8 would be simalar to the Super Penatrator 500. The CLR 2 was shorter minus 1 element. |

So that means the CLR 2 is not a 5/8 wave then? I have the P 500 and the avanti version.. They both are 5/8 waves i belive.. Never have seen a CLR 2 though.. Most guys tthat ran the big 5/8 waves around me either had the P 500 or the Sigma 5/8 wave... |

The CLR II is a 1\4 wave. I had a couple of Penatrators. Sold them. Wish I would have kept one.  |
