Are EL-519's better tubes than the EL-509's?
If so, than what are the differences? Thanks... |

El519's have a lower plate dissapation and 20% less power output ability but are a tough durable tube. The el509 is the go The svetlana el509 is the best deal avail at RF Parts. The russian 6p45s equivalent has showed power dropoff after sustained keying at rated levels on new tubes.these are availablr from Anthony welsh on ebay.
