I recently set my hands on a President Zachary T while at an old electronic surplus shop. $20.. pretty good price. Its in very good shape. Then i bought a Uniden Washington on ebay. The Washington is fairly well used and could bennefit from some of the better kept parts in the Zachary T. Should i keep the Zach in its 100% working state? or part it?
I'm going to be amused by some replies to this one i'm sure.

Why destroy a working radio?? Buy the replacement parts forthe Washington on Ebay. Wait and you will see Washingtons being sold for parts.. |

ya. .. um just get out and buy a new washington, instead of wasting money for new transistors, and stuf. Trust me, it wil turn into a nighmare! |

Yes it's true you can get burnt on EBAY but you can also get burnt at your local radio shop too. You can get burnt just about any where that you are dealing in used electronics, but if you will read the feed back (I also view the past items that they have sold to see how many of these have been electronic items) you can usually weed those bad eggs out.
