I have an old Midland 23 channel base model 13-898b and would like to convert it to a 40 channel. Is it possible to add the remaining channels and if so how?? The radio is a 1970 style crystal radio in excellant shape and I am trying to upgrade it so someone else can try their hand at the great hobby of the citizen band radio world. Any info and help would be greatly appreiciated.

you can mod it for 40 channels and a lot more

hey watchit- that was my very first SSB CB rig. Back in the day, that was king. I was coast to coast with a D-104 and a Super Scanner running barefoot.
