My ship isn't coming and I just can't pretend!!! Tried to respond to your question about your 2990 by asking if you were a RUSH fan..but I quess it was the wrong place to ask.
I am...have been since the late 70's...2112 was the coolest back in high school !!!

Hooty, you must be crazy. 2112 still IS one of the coolest albums/tapes/8-tracks and now CD's ever recorded. I still jam on it, including the live version.
One of the finest products to come from Canada. What an awesome trio!

It was a rock album produced by a Canadian Rock-N-Roll band in the late 70's. It's title was 2112, based on the year 2112. Kind of a futuristic album, much like Sci-Fi. The band is very unique, and different from every other band out there.
Still going today, and extremely wealthy. It was a trio, only three guys, all with Masters degrees in Music. Much like Led Zepplin and the Beattles are British bands, Rush was/is one of the most predominant bands ever from Canada to become a huge worldwide success.

I agree totaly Alsworld!!! Seen them live twice...Awesome shows!!!Made me feel like Garth and Wayne bowing (we're not worthy)!!!! Was just curious if this is where Flybynight got his handle. |

Rush rules. getty lee can really belt out a tune. One of the best gifts from canada. Remember getty singing Take off to the great white north for bob and doug mekenzie back in 82? That was cool. |

I agree that Rush puts on one of the best live shows ever! Kudos to their road sound engineers, wow! Load and clear, and it is amazing that a trio can produce such intricate arrangments. The only other bands I've seen that compare to them live are Yes and Pink Floyd. |
