tech808,
i celebrated the corps b-day in true usmc fashion. i smoked a deer ham over hickory during the day at my shop, and that night my brother(also a marine -infantry) and i destroyed it. don't know if mr. george dickel was ever a marine(i think he, mr. beam, and mr. daniels are all honorary members of the usmc) or not but he attended the celebration as well. |

Sounds like you had a Grreat time.
1st Sargant and I attended B-Day party at Post and we had a great turnout.
Lot's of Food, Plenty of Booze, Cake , Band, and 5 who just came back from Iraq. It was a good night with about 150 there, (Last year had over 400) But with being on a Mon this year kinda slowed thing's down a bit.
