Hi --I bought a workman hump mount cb radio holder with double drink holders and amplified talkback and amplified speaker. when I got it, there is one plug that goes to the ext. speaker, one I take it goes to the PA speaker "for the talkback" and then there is a red wire that has a black wire tie on it "wire is about 2ft long" and at the end of the wire, there is a peice of solider. In a way, it looks as if it was hooked to something ie..switch, knob, or something, but I cant tell. It might should be hooked to 12 volt power to power the amplifed speaker and talk back. I dont know!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ME PLEASE!!!!!!! http://www.copperelectronics.com/shop/catalog/images/products/M60-07520.jpg here is a link to the picture of what it looks like. If anyone has ever bought this one, please help me out--email me with any help--I dont get to check the forum too often. Thanks Eric goncrzy@asheboro.com |

Never seeing one before I would say that would be your power wire, and the end is tinned with solder to prevent fraying. Other than that I see no reason why the wire would be two-feet long. Å STEVE "Tech181" Tech181@copperelectronics.com |

OK, With Unit upside down, and cup holder's at top look at the back of "BLACK" Push Button Switch. 6 Pin Switch On Left of Switch you will have Yellow / Green & Blue going to Left side of Switch. On Right side (Your right) when looking at it. You will have 1 RED wire going from Board (on back of speaker) to "MIDDLE" RIGHT pin on switch. The wire you are talking about should go to "BOTTOM" Pin on the RIGHT side of switch. TOP PIN IS OPEN (no wire going to it) On the Three we use I have never found any use for it so I just wire tied it up inside. Lon Tech808
