Hi Forum,
Its been awhile since I have been on here. I would like to start by saying Hi to all. I Picked up a Cobra 29 LTD the other day, brought it home and opened it up to inspect it and test it. Everything was working good until my son droped a screw inside. Now I have no rx? The screw fell in the area of the D18, D17, JP22, & L35. Tx is good according to the locals but I have to switch radios to receive.
Thanks in advance for any input.
ps I mentioned one reason I haven't been on here in awhile The other two reasons Are 4 and 10 months. I got my hands FULL.

I found this on the web, it may be useless but give it a shot.

http://www.angelfire.com/fl2/cbradiorepair/cobramods.html

No TX/RX with Channel LED lit on RX and then goes out when keyed: Bad /shorted C119. ??

Also I would put this in the Ask the Tech section see what it brings up.

I had already copied that page and saved the web site on my favorites. i went ahead and posted a message in the ask the Tech, so hopefully I can get it fixed. It was a nice sounding rig.
